"I like John very, very much as a person," said Dietl, who's a personal friend of the Massachusetts Democrat. "But if this has any validity to it, it could be earth shattering."

Dietl said Kerry may have committed a crime if he took part in any discussions about the assassination plot.

"When you talk about killing somebody that's conspiracy to commit murder," he told Crowley. "At the point you talk about it you're guilty of a crime."

Fecl,

I would have thought you were smarter than to believe something from NewsMax.com. If you read the link, there is not a single fact, it is merely an opinion of a Republican about some alleged meeting of unknown truth.

Have you ever listened to Bo Dietel? He is a semi-regular on the Don Imus show, and Imus brings him out and just rips on him. It is funny as Hell, as Dietl takes himself seriously, and isn't bright enough to figure out that Imus is lampooning him.

My guess is he is not really a friend of Kerry, if you asked Kerry. Dietl is just another Republican, hired by Karl Rove to start "whisper campaigns" about Kerry.

Mr. Dietl currently serves as Chairman of the New York State Security Guard Advisory Council, appointed by Governor George Pataki in 1995. In that position he actively strives to raise awareness of client issues within the Security Guard industry and to promote high standards that ensure properly qualified security guard personnel.
Ahhh.. the always important standard for Security Guards....Don't fall a sleep at 3am....

Mr. Dietl has over 25 years of investigative and security experience. He has served as a consultant to the Director of Security for the 1996 National Republic Convention in San Diego, California and as the Director of Security for the 1992 National Republican Convention in Houston, Texas
Gosh, how many of Kerry's friends go to all the GOP National Conventions???

The Republican and Conservative Parties of New York State for the 6th Congressional District nominated Mr. Dietl for the U.S. Congress in 1986.

That is the guy's past, as with the last president, it should have no bearing on who he is now!!! Unless of course your a Republican, than it matters to the whole country according to the media if you were caught J-Walking when you were six!!!
