OK, my people, this is RICH.

I just got evicted from the extended stay no-tell-motel (waiting on house closing) because I called in a complaint about a dog barking , non-stop, for over 2 Hrs ! The day manager kicks ME out because a cop showed up to enforce the law, yet the dog is still just woofin'-yarpin'-howling away to it's hearts content. The Deputy actually helps me load my crap into the car and escorts me to location B !!

"Defund the Police" ? Take your right hand and extend all your fingers, I'll wait. Now, take your thumb and index finger and coil them into you palm.Very Good, you're a quick study! Now do the same with your pinky and ring finger....

Anyone ever seen the videos of protester from anti police groups like antifa and the such harassing people and when the victims say "no, not today" and fight back suddenly the cowards cry out " somebody call the police!"
It's actually pretty hilarious.

Thin blue something derp derp merica. Only people related to cops or people who have had zero interaction with cops like cops.

......say those living in society secured in relative safety by those they despise......think the police are bad? There are PLENTY of places in the world without them and I would cordially invite you to take a nice loooong sabbatical to any of those in order to adjust your grasp on reality. Having been to a lot of those places I am very confident in my view. BTW, this Deputy takes time to help this guy and you take this instance to shiz talk police.......stay classy!!!

As much as I hate to admit it, I've never gotten a ticket I didn't deserve, even if it was just on a technicality. I've definitely had some better and some worse interactions. That being said, I try to look at things as whether they are a net benefit or net detriment to society as a whole. I believe the police provide a net benefit, even if there is plenty of room for improvement.

Ok maybe that was harsh. I retract it somewhat but they have never been there there when I’ve needed them. Disinterested in solving petty crimes against my property but quick to hand me many speeding tickets.
Maybe if they weren't so busy trying to get you to follow speed limits they might have time to..... nevermind.

The scariest day of my life the Chelan County Sheriff came to the rescue, 7 officers responded in less than 15 minutes. One in less than 7 minutes. I stand by that no one who's ever had to call 911 (for their own problem) wants there to be less law enforcement.

As a guy whose gotten his fair share of speeding tickets, I’ve never understood why someone would get upset when they got a ticket. There’s a set speed limit, I was driving much faster than that limit, and I got a ticket. Simple as that, I deserved it. I’ve never had a bad interaction with law enforcement and I have much respect and appreciation for them and their jobs, which is not easy. But I know there’s bad men and women in ALL professions including LEOs. We’re all a work in progress.

Because they are special.

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard people complain about Cops writing tickets and how they are only trying to generate revenue for the department…..wish they would actually research how the fine is actually allocated to everything but the police department.
I also hope we someday get back to where Cops are actually respected and not demonized by those who have no idea what it’s like to do the job.
Many scrutinize and call for changes in police training, changes in policies, changes in laws, etc etc but they have no idea what pre-service and in-service training occurs, what policies and laws we have to follow, etc .
I do know that I’ve seen a huge wave of excellent Cops hang it up way earlier than expected because the job isn’t worth it anymore…..it’s a f’ing shame!
I said I’d never get lured in to social media cop bashing shit….but I guess I was wrong….so now I’m done.
Ps…..yes, I know this thread isn’t really bashing and most are respectful 👍
