I killed this damn button buck Wednesday at 6:05. I should know better than to take a 200 yard shot after sundown, but since I can legally shoot for one hour past sundown, I shot what I thought was a doe. I had been in the stand, shivering and freezing my ass off, when I spotted this deer bouncing out into the food plot after I'd spent 10 minute bleating like a doe in heat trying to attract something. I made a lousy shot with the Ruger mod. 77 .308, but at least I dropped it in it's tracks.

haha rabbit! it sure looks like a deer but the size is consistent with a jack rabbit. Great harvest-sure will taste good! I have shot a few of those in my time-cut it with a fork.

I have a couple of those Rugers. For some strange reason, I've always liked those stocks.
