Went looking for parrots this morning, but they didn't cooperate. Took it out on a few grouse.

Nice morning moon.

GuNR was ready to go after 5 days in lock-up.

No gate to be found.

Any day hunting birds is a good day. Well...'cept when you gotta eat those things. I've found that half a day in the crock pot makes them taste almost like beef stew.

Good to see GuNR healed up from the quills. It's just incredible how you capture the lighting in your pictures. Are sharptail darker meat than forest grouse?
