Custom Tikka 25-06 for sale

For sale:

My custom 25-06 Remington 1:7.5 twist left handed rifle

I feel like Brockel here, but I’m selling this bad boy because I lost interest in it. I’ll buy a lefty X Bolt in 25-06 eventually.

It’s accurate as heck, but I guarantee you I haven’t reached its potential like someone else can.

It’s got:
Preferred Barrel Blanks 1:7.5 twist, spiral fluted barrel
Mountain Tactical aluminum bottom metal
Mesa Precision Arms Altitude stock (with a custom paint job because I’m an idiot)
A DNZ game reaper aluminum scope mount

All in all, it weighs about 6.9 lbs, or that’s what my bathroom scale says.

While I was taking the factory barrel off the receiver, I bent part of the integral scope rail (shown).

This one’s probably going to be on Gunbroker if it doesn’t sell here, but HuntTalkers get it for half of what it’s worth.

Looking to get $1200 $1150. You can’t build it that cheap.

It's a pain in the rear because I'm right handed but blind in my right eye. Makes the acquisition and selling of rifles harder.

Looks like you can still find LH X-Bolts in 25-06. Traditional walnut. Hunter Only. Medallion is discontinued. 1:10 twist.

I like the X-Bolts (I'm LH and left-eye dominant).

I'm left eye dominant & used to shoot my righty's left handed....beaucoup range time after getting my eyes lasered to switch to right eye, but it worked.

Can wink at my bride with either eye now.

That's the one I want. It looks good to me and I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Have you tried just not being blind in your right eye? Seems like the easy way around the issue.

Trade him for the O’Connor Special, you’d have an easier time selling that then a lefty…

And if you can hold on to it until Christmas time I know a guy that has always wanted an O’Connor.

unfortunately, the rifle is drilled on the side and has a different stock on it. It's a shame
