[Duck-Slayer]

Was a great day! Cushman’s B-day and the fish were biting. Boated 50 Jumbos. Brought out @twsnow18, he caught his first perch and a giant to boot. 1lbs 11.2 ounces, spawned out, with eggs it would be 1lb heavier. We let go another 10 that we’re about 16” and in that same category of fish. Gotta leave some giants for seed. We brought home 40. Cascade Lake Idaho is probably the premier perch fishery in North America the last 10 years. Hopefully the F&G puts a limit on them one of these years.

They are starting to stock more perch in our local lakes. I hope they grow like these. Impressive!

Thanks to Matt for taking me out, so much fun. And delicious too. There's no guilty pleasure
like when you shoot a pile of ducks that you gotta choke down.

I'm not a fish mount guy, but dropped the big one off at Imperial Taxidermy yesterday. I felt
like the asshole that draws a super tag and brings in his first buck that's 190"!
