I remember my first encounter with a coyote deer hunting. Dang coyote trotted up with 30 yards and I didn't shoot. I think it was my first season hunting, I was 19 (brother took me). I asked my brother should I have shot him. Dang right every time! Never had another chance in all my years of hunting deer.
Really regretted not doing it. Would have made my brother proud. Always respect the older brother. I am 60 and still respect the man.
Quite a choir at this place when they start singing. This'n was a small female running right to left at about 60 yards. Must've hit bone JCS...offside behind shoulder was a mess. The stationary was 155 yards quartered left...easy shot, but like pointer said, yips sent the 180 AB smooth over. I'll let a pig walk not to spook deer but not a yote.
