CPAP Machines and Camping???

I have to use a cpap machine, so please don't turn this into a debate about alternatives to a cpap machine. What I don't have is a good reliable portable battery to run the machine, hence my camping days came to an abrupt halt. Does anyone have a good recommendation for portable battery or electric source that can be used for more than a couple nights?

Look at the goal zero products. I have one for use when camping. It is pricey but has good run time and you can recharge them in your vehicle or buy the small solar panel.

I would have to look at home to figure out the brand I use, but small portable battery packs are available. Mine is about the size of your fist and cost in the neighborhood of $300, lasts two to three nights depending on how cold it is at night. There is definitely hope for you.

This is what my buddy uses, they are good for a night and a half and a phone charge. He then charges them up in his truck.

Then you could definitely go with a bigger battery from goal zero, a couple smaller battery pack, or a generator. Could also get a fold out solar panel to recharge your batteries

I have a car battery in my teardrop camper for lights, fans, etc. My dad plugs his CPAP into the cigarette lighter plug and it will power his machine for several nights without recharging.

I do not use a CPAP machine so I do not know where in boundary Waters forms that I sometimes read there are a lot of people that talk about using them getting two or three days on a charge and they are lightweight. Bwca.com

This. Almost every CPAP is set up for DC power. You can go on line and over an adapter for plugging it into a cigarette lighter in any vehicle or if your camper has it as well.

The Goal Zero Yetis are really very nice. Simple setup, many sizes to choose from, lots of charging options, very portable. I recently bought one to power my cabin so I can give the gas generator a rest.
