I try an treat folks the same way I want to be treated
so I give em space but as others have said that doesnt mean im not gona try to out think an elk on the escape from other hunters and set up to be sucessful as long as im out of their way

Generally, first come first serve is how it is supposed to work, but don’t get into a confrontation ever.
Figure out the farthest habitat spot away from roads in your unit and you will have the best chance of leaving other hunters behind and find your game.

I wouldn’t over think it, just consider; “Would I want some one to do that to me”.

Generally speaking my hunting experience encountering other hunters have been positive.

Thanks for the replies, only OCD when it comes to hunting and fishing. Basically over analyzing this hunt for the past two years on a daily basis. Only a YouTube elk hunter and I don’t see any or very little interaction between groups on TV. Haven’t found the book called “what to expect when your expecting on your first elk hunt”, but I’m pretty good at making apple sauce from ritz crackers.
