Too much work on my plate, so I decided to put in some hours today.
There are three bald eagle nests that I monitor on the Missouri and I was curious if anyone was back yet.
The first nest I visited had a pair, with one in the nest and the other nearby. Here are a couple of shots.
The other two nests had eagles in the area, but none on the nest.
Here is a shot of one of the areas I was working. For those of you familiar with "The Journals of Lewis and Clark", this is Decision Point.
I have also slayed a few geese from near that ice shelf in the middle right part of the pic.
