Colorado deer points

Hello all. I’m fairly new to the Colorado point game. Just wanted to get some input on whether or not preference points are needed to draw a deer tag in Unit 12 in Colorado. All of the info I can find online only goes up to 2020 as far as showing who drew what tags with what points. Didn’t know if we could still draw a deer tag with 0 points like they say we could in 2020. I applied for a preference point this year assuming I would need one to draw but after doing more research I’m wondering if I even needed to buy it. Thanks for any info!
