Kenny Jr. made sure we didn't come home meatless taking a cow late in the hunt. We were into elk every day, botching a couple of decent bull opportunities, declining cows we would second guess later, and passing on a few el jefe "too far's"

...soul filling vistas and fellowship..already counting the days to '15

Looking toward Telluride

Craig and Ken Jr. with our last evening's supper.

Sounds like you guys had a great time. That country down in that part of the state is some of the prettiest around.

Sounds like a great trip Ken, even without multiple elk tags filled.

the "too far's" must have been a long poke, I thought that custom Weaver was dialed in a far piece!

An October hunt with pic with no snow, cant say if that's a good thing or bad thing.

Congrats! Trips like that with family aren't measured solely by the punching of tags, as you well know. Good looking country.

The rifle can do it....it was the operator that gave me pause.

Now why would you post pics of fish and not the elk?

Jones,.... Jr's chronicling priorities definitely need some tweaking.;)
