Color of pack matter? e.g. black

A hunting buddy of mine wants to sell me his in good condition Eberlestock J104 for a good price. It is all black. I don't really care about the color or camo pattern of my pack (pastels of course are out!)

Was just wondering if the black would get too hot in early season? Or any season I guess if your working hard. Or any other reason I wouldn't want black?

I have a black, mystery ranch 6500. It doesn't seem to get overly hot. I know it has to be somewhat hotter but I haven't noticed anything going on there.
