CO proposed tag quotas

I think it licks donkey. My unit dropped another 10 freaking tags for 3rd season. Yet that 4th season rolls on. I will be 67 before I ever get to hunt out the back door again. I hope every jackass that ever yapped about this unit is happy now:mad:

On the upshot my bear unit went up 5 tags, I am a sure thing now:rolleyes:

I wonder if they have a blind man count some years. Take this for example
112, 113, 114, 115 AM112O1R 115 tags in 2009 to 600 in 2010
112, 113, 114, 115 AF112O1R 150 tags in 2009 to 800 in 2010

Did these pronghorn have litters or did they just miss a few thousand.

I really dont like how they set quotas after you put in for tags, some units that can sure hose you.

I'm glad to see my elk unit didn't lose any tags. I'm looking forward to hunting elk in Colorado this year.

They made such a big deal about dropping Archery Elk tags in the Gunnison Basin "To keep archers from pushing Elk off Summer Range". In unit 55 they set the quota at 665 down from only around 840 Archery hunters(OTC) last year. That makes no sense to me!

Question...Since Colorado is on a 5 year plan does this mean that the quotas set for 2010 will be the same for the next 4 years as well or do they fiddle with the tags every year?
