I started hunting in gmu #01 10 or so years ago, love the fact it's so isolated and wild. The whole gmu really only has 3 access points, one of them over the "swinging bridge" which will make any sane mans butt pucker just a bit while crossing.
Looks like access just got a bit harder today. Last time the bridge was closed for repairs was 2009-2010 and took just over a year to reopen. BLM has told the rancher it's his problem to get the tractor off the bridge, they will have a engineer onsite to watch to make sure no further damage is done.
Knowing this bridge, I have a hard time believing there aren't going to be some poor unsuspecting brown trout in the green river that in the next few days don't feel what 25 tons of tractor feel like when it falls 100 feet.
The bridge does by the way have a sign on it that says the bridge has a 3 ton max limit.
