CO Archery Whitetail

What an absolutely epic hunt I just experienced! Hunted 8 days but had one of the best hunting experiences of my life. If you have never hunted whitetails or get sick of all the whitetail shows on tv, you owe it to yourself to try it. There's a good reason for all the whitetail hype - they offer a hunt that is second to none. They are beautiful deer and will get your blood pumpin! This deer was the third buck of the early hours today and I couldn't pass him up. CO has some stud whitetails and if you can find a good property, you are in for a treat. Saw numerous big bucks and it all finally came together today after watching a large handful of 150+ bucks that were always somehow just out of reach. I just got home and already can't wait for next year to arrive. Good luck to those of you who are out still, giving it all you got - be on the ready, it can happen any second.

What a stud! Congratulations. Sounds like you were on private... as you pointed out, "if you can find a good property." If it public, then it is an incredible trophy. But, still an awesome buck!
