CO 3rd Rifle Mule Deer

Well I got my buck Friday morning. I was pretty stoked this year because I drew a tag with one point that usually takes 2 for residents. I opted to sit out the first half of the season with the hopes that crowds would die down and the bucks would start rutting with the cold weather towards the end of the week. I passed on 13 bucks Thursday, and I found this guy Friday morning. I actually kicked him out of his bed in some sage on accident and I was able to get setup as he was going out. He offered me a shot at 304 yards when he turned to look back. This is my first 4x and my best buck to date. He was 22" wide. I'm a very happy hunter. No I have a 4th rifle cow and bull tag to go fill!
