Cinnamon Teal

I'm definitely not MT Miller but I thought some of you might enjoy seeing some pics of the teal that I got this afternoon. I haven't seen that many of these little guys around here. Tough little buggers to get to hold still long enough to get a good picture.

I've seen a handful of 'em in the Lincoln MT area the past few summers. Cool looking bird, great photos!

Those are great pictures. The only time I see them in Idaho is during april and may. I have never shot one before in the US, however I have shot a few in Argentina. Here is a photo of one of them. Sad thing is I turned in these teal in the photo to the host to take to his taxidermist to have mounted for me, a year or so later he retuned my money for unknown reasons.

sometimes see em here in idaho on the way to sun valley this time of year. Damn good looking birds, and great pictures. Thanks for sharing. On a side note, I was surprised to see proportion of the beak to the bird. Thats a dang big schnozz.
