Hody all,
Well,i have been in the States a total of 2 months now. have been bouncing between new York and my office in Covington La; off and on. So far i had a total of 2 weekends off, not spent less than 12 hours a day working and have yet to find hunting in Louisiana.
did find our dream home. Nice new build that will not be finished till the middle of next month. 5 bed, 3 bath with 3915 under roof. not counting the detatched 3 car garage, which is being modified to act as a one car storage shed and huge trophy room / bar!
sitting about 21 miles out of town on 10 acres, it is the solitude I was looking for!
Man, folks in the States sure want you to work for the money they pay
Unlike Thailand, where i could chat till 11 AM, go down stairs drink beer till 3:00, go back check the e-mail and head to the bars!
can't even have a glass of wine with lunch
guess i got to get used to living in the States. I do have to question the decision to turn down the alaska job. But This position is what I worked for and finally have the directorship I worked for.
just wanted to say I hope all had a great hunt this season and i will check in soon.
