It was a weird super spongy neoprene like rubber inflatable ball. Stayed soft when wet and cold (both not true of Nerf) which was important in ND.

My brother had one when we were kids. A few years ago, I remember him looking up some other discontinued Nerf ball and it was going for stupid money. I think it was the one that whistled or something.

Socks have utilitarian value. I can use socks.
