Camp Meals

My old man and I went on a canada bear hunt two years back. He is a large man.

I make out my list it was packed full of hunting and fishing gear. Bye takes a picture of his list and sends it to me. It had four hunting items and then 24 food items. An home that knows my dad knows how comical this is.

We cooked our meals at home then froze them for our week long hunt. Chili, stew, seasoned taco meat and Mountain House for supper, Usually sandwiches, jerky, or tuna packets for lunch. Breakfast was protein bar, cheese crackers or breakfast biscuits.

Life is tough in our camp, it's tough to get motivated to move after most of our meals.
Scrambled eggs and sausage, burgers with all the trimmings, man size steak with baked potato's and pit roasts. We can quad supplies to the base camp and take horses on day hunts. Then sharing stir fry with your buddy.

You guys make me jealous. If I were the camp cook it would be granola bars for breakfast, pbj for lunch, hot dogs for dinner.........every day over and over. Oh yea, pbr for desert.
