Cabelas request for an extension by the AZGFD was denied by a 5-0 vote.

I honestly feel bad for those guys on the 580+ apps that got rejected. They just lost two bonus points and a chance at an elk and or pronghorn tag in AZ for 2008. This is shaping up to be a great antler growth year as well, bummer for those involved.

I agree Stan. It is a bad deal all around. Too bad for the hunter most of all, but also too bad for Cabela's as I doubt some of their customers will take this very well.

AZ G&F did the right thing, as much of a bummer as it is for the guys affected.

That has got to help draw odds. TAGS may tank after this, although it was only fair.

I never got a hearing over my AZ deer point.

Glad to hear it was denied. The guys that would have had max points in that group really have to be feeling it. It's even worse for them knowing the S.F. peaks will have over 20ft of snow on them before this winter is done.
