Bullet Fragmentation Study

Seems a bit strange that the only shots that are listed are from either a .270 or a 7MM Rem Mag. I don't suppose that would be from the same two shooters, do you? the posted article also doesn't show where the initial impacts were made or whether there was any special attempt to shoot shoulders and cause the bullets to break up. I do know that I have shot several animals and not found many fragmented bullets. Most shots have an exit wound indicating that the bullet was a pass through shot. There is also no indication as to what type of bullets we are seeing except that they were lead core and copper jacketed. Too many questions to form any kind of specific conclusions.
