That is awful. And seems just outrageous to be happening in the end of December. My heart goes out to everyone effected.

Hoping for safety first for citizens and Responders. Downstream this will jack home prices, insurance premiums, cost of construction materials, all those inflation factors. Because it doesn't cost enough already to live in Boulder county.

Is that a reflection from the smoke plume?
Yeah. I feel like I’ve never seen that before, even during the summer forest fire season.
Maybe I’ve just never happened to look at the radar during a fire before. I mean I guess what’s the point it’s not like it’s ever raining or snowing here

Yes, the radar is a reflection of the smoke plume. Crazy. Stay safe over there folks.
I have word that the Middle Fork fire was contained, so Longmont should be fine.
