Blacky Down!!!

Went out last weekend and saw two small bears on Sunday night. Both were probably sows and not very big so we let them go. Monday turned out to be much better. At about 5:00 pm we found this big black Boar, made a short stalk and gently coaxed him to sleep with the .300 Ultra. This was a draw tag that did not allow bait or hounds so it was all spot and stalk. What a fun weekend. He is a shade past 6 and a half feet. My first good bear, I am very happy.
