I was out and about the other day, and ran into a couple of ewes. Based on the area, they would be Rocky Mountain sheep, not Desert. The one really peaked my interest, as she is much lighter than I've ever seen. It looks like she has some skin issues as well. Is this type of coloration relatively normal?
The two together:

The lighter one from behind, to show the brown striping on her neck and by the tail:
I first saw them at a distance, and wasn't quite sure what I was looking at. The coloration difference made me think they were something domestic, like someone's goats had gotten loose and gotten really fat. It wasn't until the darker one turned, and I saw the rump patch, that I realized what they were. I haven't seen a lot of sheep, so I figured I'd share the pictures and see what you guys have to say.
