That is a crazy big lope.

One of the coolest things I have ever witnessed. I am sure no one will believe. I was a ways in and decided to leave. I was hauling butt outta there and jumped this bull at 50 yards or so by accident.

He jumped out of his bed. When his front feet hit the ground the right side flew off. His next jump was through the tight junipers and when his left side hit them it flew off as well.

You can see his tracks. If someone told me they saw the same I would probably call BS:rolleyes: It was cool. Needless to say.............the freshest sheds I have ever found. Warm pedicles.

Thats way cool dinkshooter!

I had a similar experience a couple years ago. It was Christmas day and I was in the hills looking for coyotes deer and elk. I was watching a decent buck feed up a ridge when all of a sudden his horn fell off. The buck jumped up and ran down the ridge into a canyon. He came out on top missing the other side. I hurried up the hill to get the shed I saw fall. I would of went and picked up the match but there was a bigger buck hanging out in the canyon and I didn't want to spook him. Very rare to see an animal shed. I wasn't expecting it that early, I always thought Dec was too early for mule deer to shed. Some people say they will shed early if they are sick but the buck looked in good shape. Heres a few pics that tell it better than I can.
