Been a good year so far

Last years hunting season was a humbling lesson. With this being our second year here in WY it’s been good so far and it’s still not over.
Had 2 firsts this year. Took my first bear and my wife went in her first ever hunt and filled her tag. Both took me 20 years to complete lol. Having a rug done on the bear and a shoulder mount on the wife’s goat.
So far it’s 4 goats and a bear for us. Boys still have youth deer and elk tags to fill. Fingers crossed the boys tag out as well.

Thank you. I don’t know if I’m more thrilled that the wife decided to go hunting or that I checked my #1 bucket list (bear) species off. Either way this will be my #1 season for good times.

Already have a full size stand up and chest freezer but a new gun safe would be nice.

I was planning to score them this week. I wouldn’t say mine was that exceptional. It was the stalk and taking him high up on a mountain top that I was after.

My boys have now added mule deer to this season punched tag list. All that remains is the boys 2 elk tags.
