Does anyone have any reloading info for these bullets yet? I didn't see them in the manual at Sportsmans? They are supposed to be faster than normal, are they as fast as the XLC?

Thanks,

HS

I have shot them as fast as the same weight lead core bullets in my 6.5-284. i don't think they are quite as accurate as lead core but their terminal performance is great so far. 4 animals taken with them.

Just a bit larger that 1" or so so at 100. This in a .264, 6.5-284, and a .260. Try loading them just off the lands. We use slower powders and they seem to like them. Good luck.

Use them in my bro's 7mag. 140 gr.. .763" 5 shot group @ 100 yards in Winchester pre 64 Model 70 stainless with Boss. Velocity avg was 3367 on Reloader 22 powder set off the lands .015" Using the same load but with combined technologies 140 gr silver ballistic tips, he avg 3225 FPS and 1.115" 5 shot 100 yard group. The TSX deffinatly is a superior bullet in this gun.

He shot a very nice buck antelope this year at a laserd 415 yards one shot through the boiler room and the TSX did extensive damage and the buck dropped right there. I am convinced on these bullets, they are AWESOME!

Sweet. Thats what I was hoping to hear. I will use slow powder, most like 4831 of the IMR variety...unless I go H4831 SC.

Thanks Gents!

I have been using a LOT of the 4831 sc lately and it really is nice and meters much better than the long sticks. It is uaually what I have the most of around here.
