Today we had hundreds of illegals and their supporters .march from 7th street and bell [phx.] because they are about to lose their [day labor center] this place is a tax payer funded safe haven for illegals to gather...so contractors etc. can pick them up and use them as slaves.......then on ch15 [phx.abc] they ran a story about all of the illegal Dentists that have come over from Mexico to work for cash they showed the filthy conditions [old trailers houses etc. ]that they are Practicing out of [without a licence] nobody is doing anything about it [ but i will be calling the lazy fat-assed polititions tommorrow] then i heard that Vincende Fox is in Minnesota trying to help the illegals up there get drivers licences.W.T.F.

They dont allow lesbians into Mexico. This whole thing will never be easy after decades of encouraging the flood of illegals. Just gotta do it and let them whine while we herd them up and move them out. Need to use national guard or a wall after the Iraq deal ends. If Canada keeps crapping on us we might need a wall there too. Just remember we have two generations of fat, lazy and spoiled kids and we will have to kick some ass to get kids to actually work at those menial jobs like we did growin' up.

You will never stem the tide of illegal Mexicans, as long as they are willing to work for less than Americans. Big business will make sure of that. Even the politicians use illegals for the domestics.

One of the problems is that the gov't is not levying the fines and penalties against the businesses who employ the illegal aliens. You gotta hurt the pocket before anything will change. It is sad to say, but the almighty dollar drives today's society.

I agree with a lot said here. I believe if they do catch an illegal alien (regardless if its speeding etc) they should deport them back to Canada Mexico or where ever they came from. But our government just doesn't allocate enough money to do this. INS releases most of the illegal immigrants they catch if they do not have a criminal charge against them.

I think everyone complains that illegals will work for a lower wage, and that is true in a way, but also employers get away with knowing they can pay them for cheaper and they will not complain. I think the way to combat illegal immigration is to go after companies that are hiring illegals. I do know that at hotels if you are caught hiring illegals that you know are illegal you get a 10k fine for each one you have if you still employee them after 2 warnings. It shouldn't be too hard to detect illegals. When you start a job don't you need a valid SS card, Birth Certificate etc? The Government could be doing something about this but they are not. Maybe they like all the extra money that illegals pay into SS and taxes and they are never able to collect?

Finally I believe the US needs to stop out sourceing. Too many of our american jobs are going outside the US because big companies know they can save money not only in taxes but in wages paid to the worker by moving their company outside the US. I was shocked to see that General Electric, which I always believed to be a "good ol' usa company" moving much of their work to overseas and even mexico. WTF? Have you guys ever tried to call for help on your cheap Dell computer? You get someone in India. No offense but its pretty hard to understand these guys. These are all jobs that could go to American Workers. These are also jobs that are more specialized than housekeeping, concrete work etc that illegals would not be able to get. I think I read somewhere that in India alone there are 250,000 jobs in just customer service to mainly american consumers last year. I believe that could be 250,000 jobs in the US.

Overall I think trying to catch the illegal isn't helping much, we must go for the companies and fine them heavily for hiring illegals. Cut the head off the snake and the rest will die. Then we need to do something to keep American Jobs in America.

Problem with eliminating outsourcing is that the average factory wage in China is 25 to 50 cents and hour and WalMart has forced most of their vendors to move production to Shen Cheng province. We will need to pay a bunch more for things to get back to US workers. I hate what has been done to our manufacturing industries and am willing to pay my share but most people wil scream bloody murder.

Well Ernesto you are on target.....We are outsourcing jobs and insourcing labor [double whammy] this is very bad for the "average' american worker....There are 3 things that need to be done. #1 seal the border..#2 fine "heavily' any and all employers who hire a known illegal...#3 Deport "all" illegals.....but our government doesn`t have the will to do it [this can be done] the Liberals in AZ were Shocked when recent polls shows 44% of Hispanic voters were in favor of our prop 200...there are plenty of hard working Mexican /Americans who feel that they are threatend by illegals...then there are also alot who are sympathetic to their plight...we just need to try to throw the emotional out and do what is right for "All" Americans

I live in San Antonio Texas. Its closer to Mexico than any other state. I ate breakfast in a Mexican restaurant the other day while my car was getting new brakes. I ordered the Gringo breakfast. The waiter came buy and asked ?Mas cafe?.

At least the women there were good looking. I asked the waitress what the Gringo breakfast had with it. She thought it had beans, all Mexican breakfasts/lunches/ and dinners have beans. She didn't know. The lady at the register had to look up the price of the Gringo breakfast, she didn't know. It was sausage patties, eggs, and pancakes. I'm a minority some places around here.

Tom, don't feel alone about being in the minority. I am not only a non spanish speaking white, but my wife and I are also employeed, which is abnormal for around here anymore.
