Another Wyoming App Question

So I put in for preference point yesterday, paid 50.00 does that assure me a point and if so when will that show up in the system? Myself and friend both bought point and are hoping to draw next year. Is it going to be best to apply as a party of two with one point each or just apply individually for general tags? Our hope is to get drawn for general, these may be stupid questions but I am complete rookie when it comes to understanding draw systems thanks in advance!

Yes you are guaranteed the point. If you apply as a group wyoming averages out each group member's points then your group draws or it doesn't. If you apply separately one could draw and the other may not depending on the draw odds for your particular general region.
