Another custom Tikka

Just finished up my wife's Tikka,
I bought a pre contoured barrel but it was heavier than expected so I re-contoured it to match the stock Tikka barrel. It's cut to 22.5" with the brake bringing it just shy of 24"
It probably doesn't need a brake but she was starting to get flinchy with a .308 so hopefully it helps.
Cut down, Bedded and free floated Boyd's stock
Finished with KG Gunkote Titanium for the barreled action, flat black for the bolt.
Modified the magazine for the longer cartridge

That’s a pretty slick looking tikka. I have considered adding a Boyd’s to one of my tikka’s or my sons Ruger American at some point.

Its pretty nice, they're meant to be a drop in so the inletting does have a little extra room. Nothing a skim bed won't take care of. This is the 5th or 6th Boyd's I've used.
