Another Conservation Easement in Southwest Montana

Only if it meets their goal of increasing the diversity of the local flora and fauna. At least that's the answer I got from the head of the UT chapter. They've lost some supporters over this in the past. I think this is a great way to show many land managers and the public that it doesn't have to be all preservation or all use.
 
Exactly what I thought, 1 pointer. If the Nature Conservancy supports responsible ranching, responsible hunting, etc. I think they will get a lot more support than if they were automatically against anything other than total and complete preservation of everything.
 
It does work. They must not have lost too much support since they still have over 800,000 members!
