Did a quick week long trip with 4 days of fishing.

Was a great trip, went with my Dad, Brother, and 3 other friends. It was my Brothers first trip and he tore up the fish.

Probably the best halibut bite I've had in the dozen or so trips I've made. One day we landed on a pile of larger fish and got 4 over 100 real quick like.

Grey Cod bite was fast as well, one day we topped off the box in about 45 minutes.

Black Rockfish were awesome, caught some holding the jig 4-5 inches out of the water.

A few pictures.

View from the place we stayed:

My Dad and my Buddy Tom both got nice lingcod on one spot we fished for rockfish, I lost another in this class...don't think I got the hook into it, just clamped down on the jig.

Now on to the orthopedic surgeon for a consultation on shoulder surgery. Definitely a someday destination for me. Looks like the perfect trip, other than the rough weather. When you landed you became the biggest seafood broker in Wyoming.

Wow!! 750 lbs in 4 days? That sounds like some incredible fun. Hope to experience that myself one day.

Always enjoy your trip reports! Looks like an amazing trip. Appreciate you taking time to share your experience, thank you.

All you guys saying you need to do this someday, just go do it. Find a cheap ticket, stay 4 days, fish 1 day. Can be had for around $1500 bucks if you're frugal. If you love to fish, it's something you really need to do
