Hahaha this is great! I actually found two bricks today in Idaho while on vacation. Makes for a great vacation!
Funny stuff. I have been putting pressure on my suppliers for a case of .22 with no luck. I did however get a 2 year backorder filled of 5.7X28 for my FN 5seven. I went overboard and ordered many many rounds and he called and said it came in and asked if I wanted it all still. I just thought that it is better than money in the bank and said "yep" $2200 later I got my 6000 rounds delivered.
And no, the wife has no clue. So with that many rounds a P90 may be in my future...

Powder seems to be the shortage this year--- Most stores I go into have cases upon cases of primers, limited selection of brass and bullets... and no powder.

I was thinking, I must live in a reloader's black hole - never anything available locally, except Hodgdon 50BMG. Anyone have any good results with their .260 and H50BMG? Luckily my son is a reload-addict and scours the web etc. for components and has us in pretty good shape, for now.

I finally got a 100 round pack of remington's 2 weeks ago that I ordered from Cabela's at the end of November. When I ordered them the websight said "in stock". About every month I got an email saying the backorder would be filled in a couple of weeks. I had pretty much given up on them. It was a fun little surprise when I opened the mailbox and found the package with the Cabela's return address on it.
She's mistaken, they aren't LR they are sub sonic...been there, done that.
In case you were looking Sportsmans Guide has some that aren't subsonic. They are .13cents a round though.
