I keep thinking about trying for moose again. (DIY, float hunt in unit 23).

I may also need to take it easy a year and get a truck that is worth more than my hunting equipment.

I bought a new truck a couple of years ago, and wished I'd of stuck with the old heap. Could have gone on a stone sheep hunt.....

I discussed the idea of 2010 AK moose/caribou trip with the finance committee last night....I got laughed out of the room. Probably a good thing, since I'll be drawing multiple sheep tags.

It ain't gonna be that new. Been seeing some 2001-2003 Tundras with 80-100 on them for $12000 or so.

I barely made it to Wyoming this fall for Lope. The thing is downright scary to drive.

I've got 40 mile-air scheduled already. Met up with a fella from a couple of sites(including this one)and he was a return client. We are gonna get us a caribou and try to find a bear as well. Jacked barely descibes my attitude!

I put in for everything except elk. I'm pretty sure I can go on an elk hunt in both MT and CO for the cost of an elk hunt up here.

I will be in AK caribou hunting again in 2010. If I am lucky, I will have a moose tag as well. About 35% odds for non-residents in the area we are hunting.

I can't wait for September!!

nothing for me, i did put my hand in the teir I stuff for caribou, figured i might as well start doing that...no play time for me if the season gets booked up and if it don't, no money for the play time that i've got.
although i did have one day last year for a mt goat hunt and shot a P&Y billy with my bow...

Going on a dall, moose, and grizz hunt this year. The area is a draw for caribou. Outfitter told me if I drew caribou, he'd work something out. So I'm in for caribou. Not holding my breath.
