A Good Start For 2020

The beauty of Montana lies in it’s diversity of landscape and the game that occupies it. So far I have been fortunate enough to get 3 down with a deer to go. Then there is always turkeys and other birds, not to mention fishing when it gets warm again.

I started the season off with a nice moose, next an antelope and then a bull elk. I have to get another freezer as I still have a deer to go...

The new freezer may prove to be the more challenging hunt. At least it was earlier this year.

Some filler has been varmints, prairie dogs, fish and birds...

The antelope rifle is a custom 257 Roberts and the other is a Sako deluxe in 300 WBY...

I once had a Montana Fall season similar to that. It went antelope, whitetail, moose but no elk. A season to remember for this fool.

What a grand slam!
After 4 years of Alaska anyone who just said they had a great time hunting moose is a liar!
They should've said, It felt great shooting it but getting it out damn near killed me!! LOL!
