Ostrich are very thin and soft and they look like you’re trying too hard. Anything that came from a reptile is only for Mexican drug lords.

Oh come on, one of my favorite pair were Tony Lama's with lizard. Current favorite is Ariat, rounded toe and just cow leather.

Pricey stuff! I looked at some of their boots down in Ft. Worth and said "NOPE! Let's get out of here!" I have a pair of Nocona I wear for good right now. My "good" means about everywhere I go where they won't get muddy. A few years and they turn into work boots and I buy something new.

I’ve never been a cowboy boot kind of guy but I suspect you’ll be fine with whatever you wear. The bride may hate you forever for your choice, but you’ll be fine!

They are high as a cats back for sure. I bought them earlier in my twenties when I had fewer responsibilities. Couldn't afford them now.

True story, I saved one dollar bills and change I got as bar/server tips in a big jar for the better part of a year to buy them, too.
