I purchased a barely used 257 wby vanguard this winter. I do plan on hand loading for it. However, to see what it likes I bought a box of wby ammo with 100 gr Barnes ttsx & 110 gr accubonds. The ttsx shot about 1.25" groups, accubonds just over 1/2", im going with the accubonds. Does anyone here reload the 110 gr accubond for the 257 wby. Curious if you could share load or powder preference & results. Thanks much

I load 110 with norma brass and 1 grn under max with max COL. Brutal round on deer, lope and elk. My load is 1/2 inch MOA and a blast to shoot.

I just built a load with 67 grains of h4831sc 215m primer and an accubond at a COAL of 3.209" and it is covered by a dime at 100 yards. Watch the COAL nosler updated the length in version 8. Happy loading!

My 257wby's favorite load is the 100ttsx over RL22 and getting around 3450fps. It shoots ragged holes and has leveled everything with one shot. However, if my rifle shot them well, I'd be using 110 AB's or 115BT's for the better ballistic coefficient.
