I found 22 ammo in Cabela's and Gander Mountain near me but the price has taken a 30% jump from the last time I bought it. $3.99 for Remington , $10.99 for CCI

Cabelas in Wheeling had a lot on the shelf this past Saturday. 1400rd buckets, 500rd bricks and 100rd boxes. Its still way overpriced IMO, but I guess if you want to play, you're gonna pay!

That's outright price gouging, as there is no way the cost of materials and manufacturing has gone up by that amount!

Yep, the price is just nuts for sure. I am just teaching my Wife to shoot, and just bought 2 more bricks for her at $55.00 a brick, plus freight.
and 5 years ago, I could have bought it for $20.00 a brick, almost any place.

I have 3 bricks of the $9.97 stuff that I'm afraid to shoot. Seems like the going rate is about 10 cents per round when you can get it. I saw some for 8.5 cents the other day online but they wanted $25 to ship the 2 box max order which ruined the deal.

American capitalism at it's best....price gouging!

If you don't like the price, don't buy it.

If you had 10 bricks of ammo to sell that were worth $30 but people were offering you $60, what price would you sell them for?

When our local shop gets 22 ammo in,it very seldom lasts more than a couple of hours.I got two 50 round boxes of 22 magnum the other day, something I have not seen on the shelf for months.

I managed to get enough to last me for a long time before prices got too out of hand. I even got lucky and got a FREE BRICK at the RMEF banquet I went to! Well, I bought a print in the auction, and the brick came with it as a 1 in 8 chance at a rifle. Got down to the last 2 of us in a drawdown and of course my luck ran out.
