2024 College Football 🏈 Season starts tomorrow…. Yee Yee

They got robbed of a heisman.
As much as I think jeanty earned the Heisman, and that public image aided Hunter, you can not downplay a two-way starter in that fashion.

Like playing euchre and having the right and left bower in your hand. It doesn't guarantee you'll win the match, but youll certainly have a leg up.

For the record, I don't believe hunter is the athlete/ball player that jeanty is. And that i hope jeanty has a longer, more illustrious career and life post football.

Proud though of my Boise. Past few years had a lot of ups and downs and a lot of promising athletes that came and went, injured, transferred, coaching...lot more turmoil than years past. Hope they stomp penn state.

It's on to record, and with 3 little ones all getting over the flu in various fashion, mom on night 6 of 6/12s at the hospital, dad getting over the same flu and day 6/6 of solo dad shift..I'm ready for a WIN!

...although I did get to see my Iowa lose to Mizzou...can not wait until we get rid of ferentz.

That kid is good but Travis Hunter is a one of a kind every so often. Jeanty will look good with a Star on his helmet though. mtmuley
I agree with your take on Travis hunter. Now the cowboys making a wise draft choice…

Hunter and Jeanty are obviously good, but I don't feel they played the "best" competition.

Could they have had the same numbers against better competition? Probably not. But how much of that would be because their supporting cast isn't up to the harder competition? There is no way to know.

In Hunter's case, he didn't even lead the WR in the best numbers. He is fun to watch after the catch.

However, the best player doesn't always get the Heisman. It is a popularity contest after all. Peyton Manning didn't even win the Heisman although he was obviously the best player to most that year. It didn't seem to hurt his pro career a bit. Tom Brady wasn't even in the running, but obviously, is one of the best to ever play QB.

What is your point here? mtmuley

Let’s go Boise. Got a stupid parlay that could hit big if Boise wins the Natty and Mahomes wins NFL regular season MVP. Crazier things have happened. IMG_1095.jpeg

Penn State throttled Jeanty to half his yards per carry and game average. He fumbled as many times in this game as he had all season. Boise State played two ranked teams and lost both games. Boise State is a good team, has good players and a good coach but in no way would they only lose one game playing in a bigger, more competitive conference. You can only play who is on your schedule and when you win lots of games it is easy to think are just like 'Bama or Penn State and your running back could roll up very similar numbers in those conferences. Tonight puts things in perspective. Congrats to the team and keep on dominating the conference since is a lot of fun to be a winner.

Who's going to win the next three. My guess Texas, Ohio State, and Georgia. I've been wrong before though so don't count on it. :D

I'm not sure that it means much, but one of the announcers said Jeanty hasn't seen a defense like Penn St. Since they played Oregon, I'm not sure if that was a slight to Oregon or the announcer just forgot about that game.
