So far drew a doe and cow tag… burned a bunch of points this year… still waiting for my moose tag.

not a damn thing. 14 quality deer & elk points and nothing (though that was still only about 1% odds).

Managed to pull an archery "buck" permit, only 3 permits so at least it should be a nice quiet hunt.

I do believe WA hates me! However, the enitre PNW was consistent this year - rejected by all three states, solid list of 'not selected.'

I'm in that same point range and don't worry, 3rd level hunts are just as undrawable...

My uncles have whatever max is (27 I think?) and they don’t ever draw either.

So here were my odds going in (based on last years #s except the avg is one point higher).

WA is truly a state where you can really feel/see the failures of bonus point system. The only way you move up is when people die. That's it. There will never be even close to enough tags to remove hunters from the pool that way, and every years there's a new and bigger crop of people coming in. That 3.4% hunt for elk used to be closer to 4% a few years ago, but there's just too many new people playing the game that even if I have 10x more changes my actual odds keep going down.

Also, the almost 4% deer tag is a doe tag... think about that Montanans.

Seems like everyone I know who's drawn a quality permit has gotten it twice.
