Quick ending to my 2021 Montana Antelope season. Drove 16 hours to get it done on opening morning by 9AM. Glad my dad could be there with me. Hope you guys are having a successful season.
We Didn’t draw a general elk and deer tag because we did last year (filled 2 elk and 2 deer tags in 2020). Hopefully next year we can draw the general tag. But we did do some scouting around Augusta and saw lots of elk and deer on the public. Planning a hunt there in the future. Saw a ton of grizz sign and a couple bears through the spotter.
I’m starting to do some research into bonus point limited entry elk and deer hunts. I have 3 points for elk and 3 for deer and was starting to try and do some research. Really interested in a Missouri breaks deer hunt in the future. How many points do this usually take? Is the breaks worth hiring an outfitter or going DIY? I’ve done both and had success with and without a guide so either works for me. Just wanted to hear from
