As the title suggests I took my Pb muzzleloader stag this rut. I had a great rut this year. Saw 9 different stags and managed to roar this old bloke into 20 metres. Im really lucky to have access to a property that borders the unhuntable park, heard this guy roaring from back near there and managed to coax him all the way in on a string. One neck shot with 240gm hornady xtp magnums with 110 gn alliant MZ from my TC bonecollector put him down where he stood.
He's an old 6x6 going backwards, i took the jaw to a couple of local deer guru's and they put him as old as 12-13.
