2014 Nevada buck

Here is a pic of the buck I got last week hunting with my son. I'm glad he was with me to drag the buck down the mountain for me cause they didn't tell the buck to come down after
the snow. Got to spend a great week with my son and we caught some nice fish too.
I also have a cow elk tag that we can hopefully fill in January.

Nice buck. A couple years ago I was heading up the road a couple canyons south. I spotted some does on the side hill, so I stopped to glass. My dad says "is that a lunchbox"? I look over and sure enough, there's a blue and white cool let sitting between 2 bushes. Look a couple feet to the left, and there's a guy, full ghillie suit, sitting 15 yards off the road. I'm guessing he was still hunting? Couldn't see a rifle anywhere. He didn't move..just stared. It was creepy.

Did you see any goats in there? I watched a decent group all summer.

Yes we see the goats every year. I've been applying but I'll probably not get one while I can still go up the mountain to where they are. The years are creeping up on me.
