The Yeti Gearbox 30 has become an indispensable tool for organizing my shooting gear. This rugged, durable box is the perfect solution for keeping all my rifle and ammunition essentials organized and ready to go. It’s become my go-to for every shooting outing, ensuring I never forget a crucial piece of gear.
Let me take you through what’s inside and why this setup works so well for me.
What’s Inside My Yeti Gearbox 30?
Let’s pop it open and take a quick tour of everything I keep in here.
- Hearing Protection – On top of all my gear, I store my ear protection. Its the first thing I need when I arrive to the range.
- Range-Finding Binoculars – My range finding binos are also on at the top of my gearbox.
- Ammo, Ammo, and More Ammo – Of course, no shooting session is complete without ammunition. I’ve got plenty of rounds stored in the box, including extras for the day’s shooting activities.
- Fix It Sticks Kit – This compact toolkit is a lifesaver. Whether it’s adjusting a scope or tightening a loose screw, the Fix It Sticks kit is always in my box.
- Organizational Bins – The Gearbox comes with smaller bins that help keep everything tidy. In one, I store my Garmin chronograph, which is crucial for tracking bullet velocity. Another bin holds a magazine holster for competitive shooting, along with a selection of magazines.
- Magazines – Speaking of magazines, I’ve got ten-round mags for .308 or 6.5 Creedmoor, these are the two rifles that I’m shooting the most. They fit perfectly in the slots, as if the box was made specifically for them.
- Kestrel and Accessories – On the other side, I keep my Kestrel weather meter, which helps me account for environmental factors like wind and temperature. There’s also a tripod for my Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chronograph and a Wheeler scope mounting tool.
- Shooting Bags – Underneath everything, I’ve stashed a couple of different-sized shooting bags which I use for rear and front supports.
- Target Supplies – The top section of the box has zippered mesh pockets which I dedicate to target supplies. I’ve got a stack of sticky targets, paper targets, and a staple gun for setting them up.
Why the Yeti Gearbox 30 Works for Me
The beauty of this setup is its simplicity and efficiency. By keeping all my shooting gear in one place, I eliminate the frustration of forgetting something important at home. The Yeti Gearbox 30 is rugged enough to handle the elements, and its thoughtful design makes organization a breeze.
Whether I’m heading to the range for a quick session or a full day of shooting, this box has everything I need. It’s become an essential part of my shooting routine, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to streamline their gear.
So, if you’re tired of scrambling to gather your equipment before a range day, consider investing in a dedicated shooting bin like the Yeti Gearbox 30. It might just be the game-changer you’ve been looking for.
