The head of Montana BHA already has said he doesn’t support the hunt talk proposal in a Billings Gazette article. It decreases opportunity. Exactly the stance I thought they would take and exactly why I shouldn’t have given my $20 to BHA to reward FWP for hammering a resource to nothing.
With a season structure like montana where there is no limits and no hope for change the damage the influencers have done and continue to do is irreparable for Montana public land wildlife. It really is unforgivable for the “advocates”.
The plan is great. Convincing new or inexperienced hunters is going to be a hurdle that seems or maybe is insurmountable. Not to mention FWP.
