I have deer hunted since 1985 but I have never hunted from a portable ground blind until last year When I sat in one two times. This year I decided to get one so that it would be easier for my wife to hunt, she has never climbed trees. So far we have both killed a buck from our ground blind... -

1/01/22 My wife started off the new year right by killing her best buck to date. 8 point trailing a doe, shot at 20 yards with her Remington Model Seven 7mm-08 with a 120 grain Hammer Hunter bullet. -

Not the .308 but my wife killed her best buck yet this morning, an 8 point. Killed it with her Remington Model Seven 7mm-08 with a 120 grain Hammer Hunter. Shot it at 20 yards through the neck. Shot right handed, with her right eye, no issues. -

You are correct. She actually hunted with me 6-7 times before I left her alone in the stand.
