Use the sidearm you are GOOD with. Six shots from a short barrel 44/454 etc does no good in the in the air/hair or dirt. A Glock 9mm with 15/17 rounds of 147 grain buffalo bore hard cast going where you want them is far more effective.
2021 for me. No idea on score the palm on the right side would ruin that but the fronts were all 20/21. I got lucky this year in the draws with NM and NV archery bull tags so we will see.
So true. Mtmuley, You know Iam on there ( MM ) a lot. There are a few cranky old farts like everywhere else, but I have had some of nicest guys reach out and I have helped many guys from there be successful to. I think most forums are similar in that regard.
I would a box of both the Hornady 212 and 225 factory loads. If you look around they are reasonably priced. I would bet one of them or both shoot sub moa if you can. Go from there.
I am not good enough to try neck shots, to much room for error. But yes they either work great or they do not. Now straight on shot at the base of the neck/throat I have done, that works. But again not a lot of room for error.
Use your gear way before the hunt, make sure it all work and fits, get your boots broke in now while it’s cool- no ones wants wear them when it’s 90 degrees out in summer.

Probably if they free add chargers at my work, they are talking about it now. Other than road trips and hunting it would be useful. We are a long ways out from having electric without a gas vehicle also however. Iam going to seriously consider getting one, not going to lie.
