I would love to go do some public land diy hog hunting in the future but don't want to pay to play on private land. Seems most hogs live and linger on ranch & farm land for obvious reasons.
Any states offering decent public land hog hunting?
This one sounds very interesting with a lot of nuance

Hmmm I didn't know someone could draw multiple cow tags. I assumed you could draw a cow tag (full price or reduced price) and a bull tag in the same year. Didn't know 2 cow tags were possible
Unless my math is wrong, here's the odds for 2024 NR special general tags in the 25% random draw:

East region 40%: 54 tags 135 1st choice applicants
South region 69%: 102 tags 149 1st choice applicants

this issue & divide between houndsmen, trappers, & hunters is a snapshot of the bigger reason why this bill will pass. There's way too much bickering and infighting among hunters instead of unity....and the parasites of the world know it and they will exploit it.
Just heard Randy & Corey talk about it in their recent podcast. Donated $100. I don't live there but I hunt there occasionally. This sounds like it could be a really big domino that will really hurt us if it falls
Almost certainly the anti-hunting groups will raise way more money than is needed...
